I don’t believe that this offer is still running!!!
I was very fascinated by Box.com. It is not that I don’t know this service but I never gave it a try. I use IDrive and Dropbox for cloud backups and storage. Lately, I wanted more space and endless possibility of apps integration. So, I decided to go for Box.com. However they were offering 5 GB space only. As we all know that they run promotions of 50 GB Lifetime free, I started searching for it.
I stumbled on one of their blog page with offer for Android phone. Alas! It was expired. There was one more offer for Xperia Android to get free 50 GB lifetime Box.com account. But, as per the article at Box.com blog, offer was only valid till 31 December 2012.
I was sad again. Even then I said let’s give it a shot! I clicked this Google Play link to get to download page and downloaded it to my Xperia. As I already had account with Box.com, I just logged into it using app and to my surprise, my account was upgraded to 50 GB storage! I also received mail from Box.com for increased storage space with Lifetime free.
This is real sweet! I suggest to all who have Xperia phones to get it as soon as possible. If you have any other Android then you can still give it a try. Make sure you open an account first at box.com. Even if you don’t use it now, you never know when you will need it due to this ever changing technology and internet usage patterns.
